An recent argument concerning a public option mentions that if we do not want a public option that we shouldn't like Medicare either.
That's right we shouldn't like it....... 1) Medicare is already broke and only covers a very small percentage of the US population. 2) Fraud is out of control. 3) The government is in charge of policing our money although they think it's theirs. 4) The program was created by liberals a long time ago and it's the only option Seniors know. So in other words Medicare works so well right now with care, and costs we should turn the whole country over to the same system. Now that would be scary.... For nearly 8 months now all we have heard was the absolute need for a public option.
And I quote "The plan will NOT work with a public option" Why the about face? Too much heat from the town halls? Too big of a problem for the government to fix themselves? A Political disaster for Obama? The cost was way underestimated? Maybe it's juts not as easy as they once thought. More than likely all of the above.
