The American Cancer Society released the results of a study which showed that a daily aspirin regimen could help reduce the number of deaths from cancer.
While the method could be beneficial to lowering a person's risk, it also increases the chances of other serious issues such as internal bleeding, the study explained. The total decline in cancer risk found was approximately 15 percent. "Expert committees that develop clinical guidelines will consider the totality of evidence about aspirin's risks and benefits when guidelines for aspirin use are next updated," said Eric Jacobs, lead researcher and strategic director of pharmacoepidemiology for the American Cancer Society. While this method may help a person cut down their chance of heart attack or cancer, it is important that patients consult a physician before undertaking a daily medicinal regimen. If they don't have a sufficient healthcare plan to take care of the expenses of a doctor's visit, it may be smart to look for health insurance quotes online. A solid policy improvement may be available when comparing multiple options. Trackbacks
