A recent poll from the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky found that many of the state's residents think that there are serious health issues that need to be dealt with among its residents, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.
The poll noted that more than 80 percent of the state's residents think that obesity among children is a significant issue. The proportion grew to nine out of 10 respondents in the greater Lexington area, the news source reports. In addition, more than half of the state's residents want a smoking ban installed in Kentucky. Approximately 30 percent of residents were aware of a friend or relative who abused prescription drugs, as well, the report added. Wherever a person lives in the U.S., it could be very important to keep up on their own health, as well as the well-being of their families. By comparing health insurance quotes online, a person may be able to get the best policy available for their family at a low price. Trackbacks
